ON- LINE SURVEY
Dealing with problems arising from cancer and its treatment: An online survey for UK residents:-
How do you deal with problems following cancer and its treatment? If you have completed initial cancer treatment in the last 12 months (e.g. Surgery, Chemotherapy, Hormone and/or Radiotherapy) we’d like to invite you to take part in our online survey. We want to find out the ways that people deal with cancer and treatment related problems once treatment is over. Establishing this will help us to identify people who are most likely to have difficulty dealing with problems so that these people can be supported appropriately. This survey is funded by Macmillan Cancer Support and is being conducted by researchers at the University of Southampton. The survey is open now for a limited time. Please click the link here to find out more and to complete the survey: http://www.soton.ac.uk/msrg/onlinesurvey

Testimonials
I was impressed with the professional response I received when I phoned, with a prompt call back from CISS - Berns. She was able to come and see me very quickly which was so good at this time. This was just what I needed -an easy to access and reliable support service. We usually communicated via text. My husband also spoke with another counsellor, Meinir, while he was in hospital and found this visit very important as he came to terms with his illness.
'I visited your office on Friday with a friend who has just found out that her mum is terminally ill with cancer. I am very impressed and interested in the support and help that you offered to her and I know she is very grateful for the support and help available'.
'I again wish to thank Jayne and your organisation for being there and supporting me when I needed it.'
'Thank you for your continued support over the past many months - it has enabled me to continue my daily routine and the ability to talk about my bereavement without being emotionally overcome.'
'Thank you so much for this information, it has been extremely helpful. It did feel like and now appears that my dad is waiting far longer than the times stated and this gives me some information to assist with my discussions with his surgeon and oncologist.'
'Your service is extremely helpful to individuals faced with an unsure future. I have worked for the NHS for 20 years but this is not an area I have ever been involved with prior to my fathers diagnosis Many thanks once again.'
'I visited your office on Friday with a friend who has just found out that her mum is terminally ill with cancer. I am very impressed and interested in the support and help that you offered her and I know she is very grateful for any support and help available'
'Thank you for the support you gave to my father who has now made a full recovery'
